Masterworks

The jewellery created by Masterworks Jewellery is designed and hand crafted by Jonathan Corey and his staff. Jonathan studied at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton, New Brunswick from 1996 to 2000.  He majored in jewellery/metal arts. Jonathan continued his work and built up his business in the following two years while working in the industry.

In 2002 Masterworks Jewellery became a full time business for Jonathan. Sterling silver, 14K gold, stones and pearls, are used to create necklaces, bracelets, bangles, cuffs, earrings, pendants, brooches and rings.  The production process includes cutting and forming metal, soldering and filing, sanding and polishing. The process continues with the selection and drilling of stones and pearls and with certain products, the setting of stones.

Jonathan's inspiration for the designs comes from many sources; magazines, architecture, found objects, client and employee input and sometimes the elements of one series that can inspire the creation of another. The designs that Jonathan creates are then manufactured by the employees under his direction. Masterworks Jewellery also produces custom work designed and made exclusively by Jonathan.
