Ivan Dobren

Ivan Dobren was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic & Slovenia). He immigrated to Quebec at a young age and began school in Canada.

As a high school student Ivan made jewellery as a summer job and carried it on into university to finance his education.

He later attended L'Ecole Norman Bouchard, a prestigious jewellery making school in Quebec.

Since graduating from the program, Ivan has been creating custom design jewellery in sterling silver, gold, semi-precious stones and diamonds.

He is a member of MAQ, an artists's association in Quebec. Artina's is the exclusive jewellery boutique in the West to carry his work. Ivan currently lives in Montreal.
